Vietnam and the United States have come a long way since the Vietnam War. From Operation Homecoming in 1973 to the present mutual economic and security relationship, the two countries have put many of their differences behind them. The world has realized that the two currently have lasted on really good terms, but recently, Vietnam has agreed to bring into affect a new law that will store its local Facebook and Google users' personal information in local offices in Vietnam and apply a censor to all messages posted by its citizens. By this law passing, the two businesses will have to violate their own policy of protecting their customer's privacy in order to do online business in Vietnam. Vietnam has been affected by many negative economical posts that has cost them financially and reputably by its activists and Vietnam wants to put an end to this madness. If this solution strikes gold, America may jump on board. The law is suppose to go into effect on January of 2019. ...
