Another Trump Support, Trump Denial Restaurant Incident Makes Headlines!

Ok, so just weeks after Sarah Huckabee was kicked from a Virginia restaurant because of her involvement with Trump, another similar occurrence results, but this time a man was forced to leave for refusing to remove his “MAGA” hat.
You’re Fired!
On the week June 30th 2018, a restaurant manager of Vancouver, Canada’s Stanley Park Tea House was let go from his duties for refusing to serve a man that wore the “Make America Great Again” Trump support hat. As it has been noted, the hat symbolizes, racism, bigotry, white supremacy, police brutality and many other hateful acts within the United States and the manager couldn’t bear to allow this message to be represented in the restaurant in which he managed. He kindly asks the man to remove his hat but the man responds stating that he has the right to wear the hat. The man keeps his hat on with pride and so the manager fuses to feed the man who supports and advertises hate in his restaurant. The man leaves. Later the manager was fired for violating the restaurant’s policy for it’s staff to follow: “philosophy of tolerance”.
“Philosophy of Tolerance” Definition
Taken directly from Philosophy News — A fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward those whose opinions, practices, race, religion, nationality, etc., differ from one’s own; freedom from bigotry.
And so Bigotry was Recognized on Both Sides
After understanding the “Philosophy of Tolerance” policy it is only right to pin bigotry on the manager. What the Trump supporter represented was wrong on many levels, yes, but unfortunately instead of keeping to himself and getting through this situation without a word, the manager puts hisself on the same level with the man that wore the “Maga” hat by representing bigotry himself. With the manager refusing to serve the man because of his belief of the opposite of what Trump represents, highlights the manager as one who didn’t treat a man fair because of his attitude, opinion, practices, nationality, etc. that differed from the Trump supporter. If you look at his firing from this standpoint then the manager was very, very wrong for his action and it was only fair to penalize him with a firing.
As the incident with Sara Huckabee starts the flames for refusing Trump supporters in restaurants, this next incident within a couple weeks time just awakens us to strong possibilities of these type of occurences happening many more times in the near future. The flame seems to only get bigger, but with the firing of a manager from his job for acting against Trump supporters, will this action weaken the flame?
